Lucy M. WOODCOOK, Waveland resident for ½ century died at Culver April 9, 1960. She had been seriously ill a week. Mrs. Woodcook, who was 86 died on her birthday. She was a daughter of Charles and Laura Burton and was born April 9, 1874 at Hannibal, Mo. Married George Woodcook March 20, 1901. Mrs. Woodcook was a member of Waveland Christian Church. Survived by two sons; Eugene and Delma, a grand daughter and great granddaughter. Preceding her in death were the husband and a son, Charles David. Funeral services were held Monday morning at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, Rev. Grover DeNeal officiated and burial was in Old Union Cemetery. - kbz
